Facebook group suggestion: this fan cover gets a good review for reducing road noise while driving. We’ll have to try this out.

We have the van back. It came back with a long list of items fixed under warranty. It also came back with a cracked windshield. From sitting outside over the winter? Lousy.

Hey, it’s May and we still don’t have the van back from service yet. “Still waiting on a couple of parts,” they say. 🤨

Now that I have this spiffy new website, I’d sure like to share some more pictures. I hope we get it back from service soon, it really is a pretty awesome van.

I’ve spent most of yesterday and today (so far) working on moving the site over to a static site generator instead of the SPA (single page application) that was previously exported from Logseq. That’s tech talk for your links probably won’t work anymore. Sorry. But hopefully the site will look a bit better. I found some alternate rear shocks for those who want to improve their ride.

I do have an update on the Aeropress, even though there is nothing going on with Vandy Patinkin at the moment. Kelly loves it and uses it every morning to make her coffee. ☕️ It’s one item we’ve incorporated into our everyday lives even when not on the road.

I ordered a label maker from Amazon. I’m going to generate QR codes that will link to an online inventory management system to help us keep track of items. The inventory management system is not something commercially available, you have to host it yourself.

Visited Airstream of Colorado to pick up some items from Vandy Patinkin. Checked in with service and they have done what they can; they’re waiting on parts from Airstream. The parts may be ready to ship, but there’s no good way to know. This seems like very poor logistics management on the part of Airstream.

Vandy Patinkin is still in the shop and not a word.

Windish RV’s Airstream is moving to 6045 Lipan St. I drove Vandy Patinkin from their Lakewood store up there today, rather than sign a transport waiver.
